Mark Steven Fincher, 58, of Pittsburg, passed away at 2:50 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2012, at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg. He was born June 25, 1953, at Pittsburg, KS, to Robert Lisle and Bernieta (McMillan) Fincher. He attended local schools and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1971. Mark then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Building, Design and Construction from Pittsburg State University in 1976. He married Verna Pearson and they later divorced. He then married Ronda Vickers at Pittsburg, KS. She survives of the family home. He and his brother, Greg, co-owned Rainbow Color Print from 1980 to 1988. Mark was a professional photographer and owned Studio One Photography from 1991until the present. Mark was well known throughout the community as a professional photographer and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, Ronda, he is survived by a son, Jake Fincher and his wife, Chelsea of Pittsburg, KS; a daughter, Carly Fincher of Florida; his mother, Bernieta Fincher of Pittsburg, KS; a brother, Greg Fincher of Altamont, KS; and two grandchildren, Samson and Sulivan Fincher. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lisle Fincher. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, (April 5), at Brenner Mortuary. Mr. Fincher has been cremated. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Thursday, at the Brenner Mortuary. The family suggests memorials to the SEK Humane Society.
