Frank D Rudnik

Frank D. Rudnik, resident of Pittsburg, Kansas, passed away just after midnight on Monday, May 30, 2022. Frank was born on December 10th, 1931 at Washington, Crawford County, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Joy Mae Darland on April 20, 1974. She preceded him in death on October 3, 2017. Frank worked for McNally's Manufacturing and then worked at Car Quest Auto.

Frank is survived by two sons, Jim Handshy and Becky of Opolis, KS and Randy Handshy and his wife Pam of Aurora, MO; and his son-in-law, Bud Jones of Iola, KS; 2 grandchildren Michael Handshy and Michelle Kearns, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, sisters, a daughter, Jeri Ornelas Jones, an infant son, Steven Lee Handshy, and two grandchildren, Dustin Ornelas and Steven Handshy.

A service for Mr. Rudnik is set for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg. Burial will follow in the McCune City Cemetery, McCune, KS. The family suggests memorials to the SEK Humane Society and/or Hospice Compassus. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762.
