Robert Hosier Obituary

Robert L. Hosier, 81, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on January 28, 2022, at his home in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Robert was born on February 2, 1940 to Harry and Thelma (Lowery) Hosier in Columbus, Kansas. On February 24, 1962, he was united in marriage to Lois M. Grotheer at Pittsburg. She preceded him in death on August 9th 2019.

He is survived by three daughters; Theresa Wehmeyer (Walter), Brenda Lamborn (Brian), and Susan VandeLinde (David), a brother Harry Martin Hosier, a sister, Barbara Sheets, and five grandchildren, Tara, Victoria, Haley, Sydney and Trevor.

Mr. Hosier is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Hosier.

A private family burial will be held at a later date in the Highland Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the S.E.K. Humane Society. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 East 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. Friends may leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com.
