Susan Michelle (Rhuems) Jennings

          Susan Michelle (Rhuems) Jennings, 51, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away at 10:28 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at her daughter’s home surrounded by family.

          She was born May 28, 1970 at Ft. Scott, Kansas the daughter of Russell Eugene and Jo Carol (Wilkerson) Rhuems. She attended local schools and graduated from Pittsburg High School and later from Pittsburg State University.

          Ms. Jennings worked for USD 250 as a paraprofessional while living in Pittsburg. After moving to Wichita Falls, she worked for WFISD as a special education aide.

          Susan loved her grandchildren and her cats.

          Survivors include three daughters, Haleigh Rhuems, Shanice Jennings and Shaylen Jennings all of Wichita Falls, Texas; her mother, Jo Carol Rhuems of Pittsburg; a brother, Michael E. Rhuems of St. Paul, Kansas; four grandchildren, Kynleigh and Kohen Rhuems, and Kailyn and Keagan Jennings.

          She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Eugene Rhuems.

          A service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday (February 4) at the Brenner Mortuary with Rev. Scott Bennett, of Lighthouse Tabernacle, officiating. The service will be livestreamed via Susan’s obituary page on the Brenner Mortuary website, www.brennermortuary.com. Friends may call at the Brenner Mortuary from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday to sign the register book. In respect for the family, we are asking everyone to wear face coverings. The family suggests memorials be given to the family to defer funeral costs.
