Alice Mae Rauniker, 72, of Frontenac, formerly of McCune, passed away at 3:20 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Medicalodge of Frontenac.
Alice was born on September 12, 1953, to Tony J. and Mary (Trotnic) Rauniker. She graduated from McCune High School and Pittsburg State University.
After college, she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City, Missouri. From there she went to work for the Frisco Railroad in their Off-Line sales office in Seattle, Washington. When the Burlington Northern Railroad purchased the Frisco Railroad, she stayed with Burlington Northern Railroad in Seattle, WA, then Denver, CO, Ft. Worth, TX, their main office, for 36 years before retiring in Pittsburg.
She was a member of the Methodist Church in McCune, Kansas.
Alice is survived by a brother Richard “Dick” Rauniker (Beverly) of McCune, along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Mary Ann Rauniker.
