Andrew Fenoglio, II, of Pittsburg, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Medicalodge of Frontenac.
He was born March 20, 1929 at Frontenac, Kansas to Andrew and Mary (Falletti) Fenoglio. He graduated from Frontenac High School and attended a 2 year Electronic school in Los Angeles, California.
Mr. Fenoglio worked at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant from 1952 to 1956. In 1957, he moved to Chicago and worked as a Service Manager and Instructor for Sears and Antone TV in Chicago for twenty years. In 1986, he retired and moved back to Frontenac before finally residing in Pittsburg in 2003.
On July 3, 1948, he was united in marriage to Margaret L. Herbinger at Frontenac. She preceded him in death on May 23, 2015.
Membership was held in the St Stephens Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic. He was also a member of the Pittsburg Radio Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Andrea Fries of Joplin, Missouri and Mary Jeanette Ramirez of Polo, Illinois; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother, Paul Fenoglio, a sister, Genevieve Strukel and a son, Andrew Fenoglio III.
No services are planned at this time for Mr. Fenoglio. Private burial of his cremains will take place at a later date in the Frontenac City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenner Mortuary.
