Beth Lindstrom Obituary

Beth Ann Lindstrom, 82, of Frontenac, KS passed away December 16, 2020 at Arma Nursing Home. She was born December 22, 1937 in Whiteside County, Illinois, Daughter of Martin and Minnie Bielema. Beth is survived by her Husband, Larry; Daughter, Jan Hill of Raymore MO; Grandchildren, Stacy (Greg) Sullivan, Frontenac, KS; Jenna Hill, Liberty, MO; Jared (Trey) Hill, Lee’s Summit, MO; Corey (Amy) Hite, Pittsburg, KS; Erica (Brandon) Ray, Mt. Pleasant, TX; and Shawn Loteckie, Raymore, MO; seven great-grandchildren, who she adored, and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, sisters, and youngest daughter, Judy Loteckie.
Beth and her family moved frequently while her husband was in the U.S. Airforce. In the early 1960’s, they settled and made their home in Raymore, MO. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church (Raymore, MO), where she loved to volunteer her time. She enjoyed years of cleaning the Church, Teaching/Volunteering with VBS & Mother’s Day Out and Fellowship with her church family. She was known as, “Grandma/Nana Beth” to all kids, biological or not. She cared and kept for her own grandchildren ( Jillian) as they were growing up – park lunches, movies, swimming, walks, crafts, board games, and lunch dates filled their time, as she nurtured and loved each of them.
She enjoyed traveling and visiting with her family and friends around the U.S. She loved playing the Piano, singing, and listening to music. She was an avid fan of the KC Chiefs and KC Royals. In 2014, Beth and Larry relocated to Southeast KS to be closer to their grandchildren who would help with their care. Once they moved, Beth enjoyed attending Girard United Methodist Church, when her health allowed. She received wonderful care from all areas of Girard Medical Center and Dr. Lisa Salvador. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the care and compassion they provided Beth over the years.
Due to COVID-19, no services will be held at this time. Memorial contributions may be made St. Paul’s UMC (Raymore, MO), Girard United Methodist Church, Girard Medical Center Foundation, or Arma Health and Rehab. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenner Mortuary, 114 E 4th St. Pittsburg, KS 66762.
