Betty Jo Miller

Betty Jo Miller, 92, of Bentonville, Arkansas died Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

She was born February 11, 1933 in Weir, Kansas to William Willis Filby and Sarah “Mae” Mummert Filby. She was a homemaker, loved cooking, family and her faith in God. She adopted two children, James and Mark and always promoted James as he played the piano. She enjoyed old hymns and was an honest and good person. She was a member of the Weir Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, June Filby, Lenell Filby, Lamont Filby and John Ray Filby. 

Survivors are two children, Greg Walker and wife Linda of Pomona, Missouri, Susan Walker and husband Mahmoud Chitsazan of Cave Springs, Arkansas,; adopted children, James and Mark Miller and grandchildren, Steven and Michael Walker.

Service is set for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, Kansas. Visitation will begin at noon before the service. Burial will be at Hosey Hill Cemetery in Weir, Kansas.
