Beverly May (Burr) Fite

Beverly May Fite, 76, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 04, 2021, at her home.
Beverly was born on February 10, 1945 to Jack and Ella A. (Campbell) Burr in Pittsburg, KS. She attended Pittsburg Schools and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1963. She then graduated from Kansas State Teachers College with a Bachelor's Degree in Education.
On September 24, 1965, she was united in marriage to Larry Fite in Pittsburg, KS. He survives of the home. She raised her two sons while her husband worked for Walmart and Pamida.
She was a member of College Heights United Methodist Church. She also loved her boys, grandkids and great grandkids.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Steve and Tim Fite; five grandchildren, Chris, Emily, Michael, Taylor, and Brody; two great grandchildren, Kaison and Kolby; and a sister, Judy Crews of Pittsburg, KS.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David L. Burr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brenner Mortuary with Chaplain David Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Private burial will be at the Timmons Chapel Columbarium. The family suggests memorials to College Heights United Methodist Church. These may be left at Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
