Beverly May Gegg

Beverly May Gegg, 55, of Frontenac, KS, passed away on August 11, 2024, at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Beverly was born on February 4, 1969 to Fredrick Stanley and Margaret Peggy (Shugarts) Hutchison at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Beverly graduated from Andress High School in El Paso, TX and attended college at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. She married Scott Gegg on March 30, 2017. He survives of the home. Beverly worked as a Paraprofessional at Westside Elementary School in Pittsburg, KS.


In addition to her husband Scott, she is survived by three sons, Matthias Burke of Parsons, KS, Christian Burke of Erie, KS, and Aaron Burke of Parsons, KS; two daughters, Sherry Burke of Hot Springs, AR, and Charity Wilson (Triston) of Parsons, KS; her mother, Margaret Peggy Hutchison of Albuquerque, NM; two brothers, Steve (Lisa) Verville, of Ames, IA, and James Hutchison of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Michele Ortega of Roswell, NM; seven grandchildren, Lynora Burke, Sage Burke, Elyria Wilson, Nova Wilson, Emrys Burke, Coheed Burke, and Olivia Burke

She is preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service will be on Friday, August 16th, 2024 at 10:30 AM in the Countryside Christian Church with Jim Frech officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
