Carl Ray Seaman, 62, of Pittsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his home.
Carl was born August 4, 1962 in Pittsburg, to Arnold and Wanda (Ashley) Seaman. He attended Lakeside school and later graduated from Southeast High School in Cherokee in 1981.
He worked as a collator operator for FMI in Girard.
Carl enjoyed fishing and watching football in his spare time.
Survivors include a son Carl Seaman II of St. Paul, Kansas; three step-sons, Nathanial Sharp of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, Ryan Sharp of Kingman, Kansas, and Andrew Sharp of Pretty Prairie, Kansas; a sister, Linda Voth of Edmond, Oklahoma; and seven grandchildren, Skyla, Izzy, Addison, Axel, Zahara, R.J., and Indie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Lorin Bodelle, a brother, Martin Seaman, three sisters, Mary McDonald, Martha Stephenson, and Donna Herman; and three step-brothers, Donnie Bodelle, David Bodelle and Butch Bodelle.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family asked for memorials to be given in the form of donations to help with funeral expenses. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg, KS.
