Carla J. Watson-Meiers

Carla J. Watson-Meiers, 67, of Mulberry, Kansas, passed away at 6:43 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg.

She was born July 21, 1957 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Arthur “Tub” and Marjorie (Rasnic) Watson. She graduated from Frontenac High School and then attended Vo-Tech school.

Carla worked at Masonite International in Quality Control for over 40 plus years, before she retired.

She was united in marriage to Ed Meiers. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Travis Watson (Kristy) of Girard; a brother, Artie Watson (Angie) of Litchfield; four sisters, Marla VanDorn of Arcadia, Sharla Clay of Mulberry, Darla Watson of Pittsburg, and Rosie Scott (Dwayne) of Pittsburg; a grandson, Reece Watson; a great-grandson, Emmit Lee Watson; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Tyler Lee Watson.

A Private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
