Elizabeth A. Blessant

Elizabeth "Betty" A. Blessant, 82, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on July 13, 2021, at Arma Health and Rehab in Arma, Kansas.

Elizabeth "Betty" was born on December 22, 1938 to Matthew and Maggie (Marietta) Nicholson at Pittsburg, KS. She married William "Bill" Blessant on March 23, 1959. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2002.

Betty worked for Bell Telephone as a telephone operator and then worked for Mulberry Limestone. She was also a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church.

She is survived by one son, Matthew Blessant (Lisa) of Mulberry, KS and; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, William "Dom" Blessant, and two brothers, George Nicholson and William Nicholson.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at 10:30 AM in the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Kenny Rippel officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at Brenner Mortuary prior to the service. The procession will leave at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Lighthouse Tabernacle Youth Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
