Gerald W. "Jerry" Karleskint, 84, of Frontenac, KS, passed away on May 14, 2023, at his home in Frontenac, Kansas.
Jerry was born on July 30, 1938, to Benjamin and Gladys Helen (Lundberg) Karleskint in Ft. Scott, Kansas. He graduated from Hepler High School. He married Darlene A. DeGruson on March 11, 1961, in Pittsburg, KS. She survives of the home. Jerry was a lifelong farmer in rural Hepler.
In addition to his wife Darlene Ann Karleskint, he is survived by a daughter, Cheri Laine Buchanan of Frontenac, KS: a son, Darren Alan Karleskint and Channan Conaway of Mulberry, KS; grandchildren, Katelin Ann Buchanan, Zachery Scott Buchanan, Jay Thomas Karleskint, Becca Rachel Karleskint, Jayden Wilderman, Cash Wilderman, and Chance Wilderman; great grandchildren, McKinley Osborne and Adrain Osborne.
He is preceded in death by his parents, infant son, Jeffrey Wayne Karleskint and brother, Benjamin Joseph Karleskint.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18th, 2023 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS. A private family burial will be held at a later date in the Hepler Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Harry Hynes Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
