James Donald Ranney

James Donald Ranney, 85, of Pittsburg, formerly of Alton, Illinois, passed away at 5:23 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Medicalodges of Pittsburg.

He was born on September 22, 1937 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Don and Pauline (Minnich) Ranney. He attended Southeast Missouri University.

Mr. Ranney worked for McDonald Douglas / Aerico.

He moved to Pittsburg in 2013 from Alton, Illinois.

Membership was held in the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie and Jessica Ranney; and a sister, Mary Mayberry of Pittsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
