Janet (Beasley) Taylor

Janet Taylor, 60, of Pittsburg, passed away at 2:06 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas.

She was born June 11, 1961 at Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Harold and Mary “Joan” (Smith) Beasley. She moved to Pittsburg in November 1974 attended local schools and graduated from Pittsburg High School.

Ms. Taylor worked as a CNA for several area nursing homes, including Arma Health & Rehab, Sunset Manor and Medicalodges.

Membership was held in the Independent Bible Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Justin Beasley of the home; her boyfriend, Chuck Atha of the home; an uncle, Loren James Smith of Carl Junction, Missouri; several cousins; and her fur babies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, and maternal grandparents.

No services are planned at this time, as per her request, Ms. Taylor will be cremated. Friends may leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg.
