Jeannie (Norma) Costantini, 76, of Pittsburg, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, surrounded by her family, at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
She was born January 3, 1945, at Pittsburg, KS, the daughter of George and Ruth (Hall) Farris.
On December 22, 1978, she was united in marriage to Ray Costantini at Pittsburg, KS. He survives of the home.
Jeannie owned and operated The Home Place in Pittsburg with her husband. Together they ran the store for 12 years before their retirement in 1996.
Jeannie was a founding member of the Stilwell Heritage and Educational Foundation.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Tyler Costantini and his wife Meg, of Pittsburg, KS; two daughters, Christy Hays of Tulsa, OK, and AnnDee Peterson, and her husband Jared, of Pittsburg, KS; one brother, Steve Farris of TX; and five grandchildren, Scott Russell, Andy Hays, Gianna Costantini, Lily Peterson, and Jack Peterson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Patty Kuhel; and son-in-law, Mike Hays.
A memorial service for Jeannie is set for 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Brenner Mortuary. The service will be live streamed through Jeannie's obituary page at www.brennermortuary.com. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Stilwell Heritage and Educational Foundation.
