Johnna K. Christeson, 49, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Johnna was born on April 15, 1976, to James and Judy M (Williams) Jones in Pittsburg, KS. On May 7, 1994, she was united in marriage to Shawn Christeson in Weir, KS. He survives of the home. Johnna graduated from Southeast High School in 1994. She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide.
She was a proud Gamma who loved nothing more than being with her grandsons. You could usually find her outside, fishing or enjoying the fresh air, always happiest when she was surrounded by the people she loved. She had a big heart and was the kind of person who showed up, no questions asked, whenever someone needed help
In addition to her husband Shawn, she is survived by four sons, Damian (Sierra), Trentin (Brittany), Dustyn (Hannah), and Hunter, all of Pittsburg, KS, and a sister, Mary Hudson; five grandchildren, who she adored: Lucas, Noah, Bentley, Steven, and Big Noah.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Hutchens, and cousin Anitra Sue Williams
According to Johnna's wishes, she has been cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
