Judith Clydeene (Tims) Aikman-Garner

Judith Clydeene Aikman-Garner, 83, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on July 21, 2025, at Mercy Hospital - Pittsburg in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Judith was born on July 22, 1941, to Arthur and Alice DeMayris (Weaver) Tims in Pittsburg, Kansas. On July 15, 1961, she was united in marriage to Duane Aikman. He preceded her in death on November 28th 1989. She then married John Garner. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2020. She was a vital part of the day-to-day school transportation for her special little people for almost 4 decades. She loved watching them grow and become adults and they were always happy to see her out and about. Judy was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, a nana, nana-great, and a friend. She spread happiness, joy, humor, and endless love to all she shared time with. Judy was a faithful believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ and trusted him fully each day of her life. She will be sorely missed by so many who cherished time spent with her. We will be with her again-.

She is survived by a son, Troy Aikman of Pittsburg, KS; a daughter, Shelly Aikman-Serage (Steve) of Grove, OK; two grandchildren, Cylar Aikman and Calyn (John) Hambleton; three great grandchildren, Cyan, Luca, and Oden Hambleton; brother, Charles "Bud" Arthur Tims (Sherry) of Blairstown, MO; two sisters, Becky Garner of Broken Arrow, OK, and Sue Barrett (Larry) of Frontenac, KS; sister-in-law's, June Vanderpool and Lena Wilson (Doug); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Duane Aikman and John Garner.

Funeral services will be on Friday, July 25th, 2025 at 10:30 AM in the Crocker Cemetery with Dan Muter officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS. Memorial donations can be made to Pawprints on the Heartland. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
