LeAnn Marie (Weaver) Weaver

LeAnn Marie “Lee” Weaver, 35, of Pittsburg, passed away on December 3, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri after a long illness. She was born in Winfield, KS on August 6, 1986 to Melvin Weaver and Sharron Olson.

LeAnn attended Christian School and was home schooled. She wrote a book at age 21 and got it published. She was an artist and won many blue ribbons. She loved to sing, play the guitar and had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and was very close to her brother. LeAnn had a very big and loving heart who loved shopping and giving to others. She loved her once a year snowman cookie from Starbucks. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and making cheesecakes to give to her friends. She enjoyed watching movies with her family and especially enjoyed watching the Super Bowl with her brother while sharing with him her homemade guacamole dip. She and her mother had their own cleaning business. LeAnn will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon Davis of Pittsburg, KS; brother, Andrew Bass, of Pittsburg, KS; grandmother, Wanda Shoup of Pittsburg, KS; uncle, Andy Lloyd of Pittsburg; aunt, Karen Dorsey of Virginia; great uncle, Tom Steeley of Idaho; and many cousins and friends.

A Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the Abbey in Mt Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday at Brenner Mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to help out with final expenses. These may be left online or mailed to Brenner Mortuary, 114 East 4th Street, Pittsburg, KS 66762.
