Marco Antonio Ibarra, 43, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on February 17, 2024, at Pittsburg, KS.
Marco was born on January 6, 1981, to Jose Ibarra and Rosa Maria Cereceres in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico.
Marco worked for CDL Companies as Senior Vice President of Engineering & Signals Maintenance.
In 2002 Marco joined CDL as a Railroad Signal Assistant and after receiving his Electronic Engineering Technology degree from Pittsburg State University. He took on many pivotal roles within CDL contributing greatly to the growth and success of the company.
Marco would say his greatest success is his 2 daughters and was the greatest girl dad in the world. Membership was held at the FLAG Church in Pittsburg, KS.
He is survived by his two daughters, Ximena Ibarra Quintana of Washington, D.C. and Frida Ibarra Quintana of Pittsburg, KS; and two brothers, Luis Ibarra, and Eduardo Ibarra of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua Mexico; his mother, Rosa Maria Ibarra-Cereceres of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua Mexico; and his half siblings, Alberto Ibarra, and Claudia Ibarra.
He was preceded in death by his father Jose Ibarra.
A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, February 25th, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brenner Mortuary. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
