Marguerite Pendleton

Marguerite Pendleton, 89, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on April 14, 2023, at Oakview Estates in Frontenac, Kansas.

Marguerite was born on August 15, 1933, to Perry and Vetra (Boore) Markley in McCune, Kansas. She married Harold Glenn Pendleton on March 15, 1952, at Pittsburg, KS. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2000.

She is survived by her four children, Glenda Overbeck, Perry Tom Pendleton, Anitra Lee (Jim), Jerry Pendleton (Joyce); five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Merle Markley, a sister, Marie Satzler and two infant siblings that died at birth, Bobby Markley and Pauline Markley.

Marguerite was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, tending to her flower garden, feeding the hummingbirds, and taking care of people.

A Graveside Services will be on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 at 11:30 AM in the Monmouth Cemetery. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS. Memorial donations can be made to Harry Hynes Hospice and/or the Oakview Estates Activities Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
