Michael L. Wickham

Michael L. Wickham, 44, of Pittsburg, passed away at 1:41 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

He was born on August 12, 1981in Los Angeles, California to Cecil Earl and Diane (Helton) Wickham. He moved to Pittsburg with his family when he was 16.

On December 29, 2017, he was united in marriage to Jill R. Yates in Pittsburg.

Michael worked for Sanderson Pipe in Pittsburg.

He attended Countryside Christian Church. Michael was a devoted father, who loved spending time with his family and volunteering at his kid’s school. If you needed help with a project, Michael was there to help anyone.

In addition to his wife, Jill, he is survived by twin daughters, Kinsely and Felicity; a son, Kipton; three sisters, Alexandra Alyse “Ally” Wickham (Aaron Onofre), Lisa Castro (Alex) and Sonia Adkins; a brother, Brandon Wickham; two nephews, Levi and Dylan and a niece, Lia; his step-mother, Jody Drexler; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Cecil Charles “CC” Wickham; paternal grandparents, Orville and Donna Wickham and maternal grandmother, Sylvia Helton.

The family will receive friends at their home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27. Friends may also leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg, KS.
