Paul Moore

Paul Benjamin Moore, 90, of Weir, KS, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, at his home, surrounded by love.

He was born on December 30, 1931, to Dennis and Ruby (Kirk) Moore in Ft. Worth, TX.
On December 2, 1950, he married the love of his life, Patricia Fagg. They enjoyed 71 years together before her death on July 8, 2022.

Paul opened various businesses in his youth before serving in the Navy and landing in Kansas. In Pittsburg, he turned a small vacuum cleaner repair shop into a retail furniture store that he operated for over 60 years along with his family, Moore's Furniture.

He is survived by a son, Mark Moore (Cynthia) of Pittsburg, KS; a daughter, Rebecca Keller (Greg) of Weir, KS; three grandchildren, Aubri Moore of Lawrence, KS, Amanda Moore (Misty) of Kansas City, KS, and Wes Keller (Brittany) of Pittsburg, KS; and seven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, a son, Erik K. Moore and a grandson, Neil Sandlin Moore, his parents, two brothers, Dan Moore and Jack Moore.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Harry Hynes Hospice of Pittsburg.
