Perry Vincent Burgar, Jr

Perry Vincent Burgar Jr, 73, of North Radley, KS, passed away on July 28, 2022, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Perry was born on September 22, 1948 to Perry and Josephine (Deloney) Burgar in Girard, KS. He married Anita L. (Todd) Forehand on April 4, 1980, in Pittsburg, KS. She survives of the home. Perry was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, and grandpa. He worked at Ace Forms in Pittsburg for 30 years. He enjoyed going to the Crawford County Fair, 4-H Horse Shows, Lucky Riders 4-H and Success Express 4-H events. He also enjoyed going to school track meets, football games and baseball games for Tom, Mike and Kelly. He was a fan of both the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs.

He is survived by his wife Anita Bugar of Pittsburg, KS; three sons, Greg Burgar of West Baden IN, Thomas Forehand (Kelly) of Brighton CO, Mike Burgar of Pittsburg, KS; a daughter, Kelly Payne (Anthony) of Oklahoma City, OK; a sister, Jo Marie Golob of Pittsburg, KS; three grandsons, Owen Burgar of West Baden, IN; Camden Burgar of Pittsburg, KS; Ross Forehand of Brighton, CO; four granddaughters, Logan Burgar of Raleigh, NC; Emily Burgar of West Baden, IN; Eleana Burgar of Pittsburg, KS; Roxie Forehand of Brighton, CO; one great-grandson, Bodhi Levan of Raleigh, NC; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John L. Burgar.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS. A private family burial will take place at the Ft. Scott National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
