Philip Ernest Withrow

Philip Withrow, 72, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on July 4, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Philip was born on August 3, 1951, to Joseph and Harriet (Adamson) Withrow in Hutchinson, KS. He graduated from Hutchinson High School. He married Adena Henry on October 25, 1975 in Sterling, KS. She survives of the home.

In addition to his wife Adena, he is survived by two sons, Jason Withrow (Stephanie) of Pittsburg, KS, and Wesley Withrow (Sarah) of Collinsville, OK; a brother, Joseph Withrow of Nickerson, KS; three grandchildren; Elijah, Noah and Elsie.

Phil loved the Lord and his family. He served as a deacon, played guitar and bass on worship teams at church. He enjoyed dogs, trains, bacon, 'chip chocolate' cookies and ice cream. He worked as an auto mechanic and truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Daniel, James and a sister, Julia.

Celebration of life will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9th at the FLAG Church with Pastor Shelby Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8th from 6 to 7:30 at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS. Memorial donations can be made to the FLAG Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
