Richard Allen Pyle, 66, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, formerly of Frontenac, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at his home.
He was born April 4, 1955 at Girard, Kansas to Robert “Bob” and Jane (Kennedy) Pyle. He graduated from Girard High School and then attended Pittsburg State University. After attending Pittsburg State he went to work for O'brien Brother, located outside of Chicago. In 1983, started his own business form distributing company Rapco Systems, Frontenac, KS. Continued with Rapco until 2019, when he retired.
Richard married Julie Marie Strasser in February 1994. They purchased Grassies Retail Liquor in 2004 and renamed it Pairott Head Liquor where he enjoyed meeting and greeting customers, making recommendations for wine and spirits for all occasions as well as hosting and participating in wine tasting events. Some of his favorite activities were golfing and camping. Richard and Julie traveled in their R-Pod visiting numerous locations across the United States.
He is survived by his two children, Adam Pyle of Frontenac, Kansas and Laura (Pyle) Howerter and her husband Ben of Parsons, KS; a granddaughter, Regan Howerter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Julie.
A Memorial Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday (June 10) at Brenner Mortuary. His wishes were to be cremated. A private family burial will take place at a later date. The family suggests memorials to the S.E.K. Humane Society. These may be left at or mailed to Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. Fourth St., Pittsburg.
