Ronald G. Thompson, 42, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on December 03, 2021, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Ronald was born on September 2, 1979, to Billy Thompson and Gloria Pawley in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Ronald was very big hearted, selfless and had a gentle soul. He loved his children more than life itself and was a very caring father. He was always trying to make people laugh by cracking jokes and never knew a stranger. He never passed judgment on nobody and was a very hard worker when he was still able to work. He had a passion for music, drawing/tattoos and he loved collecting turtles. His nickname was Turtle in fact!
He is survived by four sons, Braden, Miles, Zairik, and Xander; three daughters, Charlee, AshLynn, and Destiny; step son, Lorenzo; mother and step father, Gloria and Howard Yoder of Pittsburg, KS; father, Bill Thompson of Nevada, MO; a brother, Billy Thompson and his wife Tammy of Nevada MO; nieces, Samatha and Mary Elle (Billy’s); sister, Melissa and Cary Beeson of Pittsburg; nephew, Brian and Niece Cyra (Melissa and Cary’s); brother, Joseph Fahnestock of Nevada, MO; nephews, Joseph Jr., Ethan and Jaxson; aunt and uncle, Darlene “Kay” & Lyle Walker; uncle, Gary Pawley; cousins; KayLynn Burns, Stephanie Barber, Josh Thompson, Tiffany Thompson; half brothers, Tyler Thompson, Derek Thompson, Logan Thompson and uncle, David Thompson.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Irene Pawley and paternal grandparents, Roy and Linda Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10th, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS. Following the visitation friends are asked to meet at Schlanger Park in Pittsburg. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
