Tammy Frye Obituary

Tammy Michelle Frye, 47 passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 24,2021. She was born July 19,1974, in Pittsburg Kansas, the daughter of Ronald E. Sluder and Vickie McCauley Blasor.
Tammy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an auxiliary officer for many years at Ladies Auxiliary Post 394. She loved her legion family very much. Tammy enjoyed traveling to many destinations. Her favorite places to travel were, St. Petersburg, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Kurey Beach, North Carolina. Tammy was an all-around family woman who loved her children very much. Tammy lit up any room she walked in with her infectious laugh, loving, caring, but also blunt personality.
Tammy worked at the Pittsburg Police Department for 8 years. She always prided herself in her work. She did an amazing job and always went above and beyond in her work place. She devoted many hours to assure that they were always equipped with what they needed. Her work family loved her very much.
Tammy proceeded death with her father Ronald, her sister Tara, grandchild Koulter Marrs, and her cats she viewed as children.
Tammy is survived by her devoted husband Matthew; the apple- of- her eye, her daughter Ashlea Roberts, along with her husband Daquis Roberts; her son Tre Duggan, along with his wife Catherine Duggan; her daughter Reneigh Beard, along with her fiancé Karlil Johnson; her daughter Jessica Marrs, along with her husband Andrew Marrs; Siblings Misti, Lynette, Travis, Richard, and Chad. Grandchildren Kaitlynn 7, Greydon 5, Remington 4, Hunter 3, Akai 2, Memphis 2, Lynken 2. Soon to be Grandchildren Zyaire, Zenzalee, and Kallan.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 28,2021 at 6p.m., at Pittsburg American Legion. 2815 N Joplin Street, Pittsburg, KS 66762. This is a private event for close friends and family. A more public event will be made at a later date. Cremation will follow the Celebration. Flower donations can be taken directly to the American Legion. Her favorites were carnations and white roses. Donations can be made at the American Legion to help funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
