Teresa Nannette (Tyndall) Green

Teresa N. Green, 68, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on November 21, 2025, after a short battle with illness, surrounded by her loving family.


Teresa devoted her 47 year long career with Ferrell-Duncan Ob/Gyn to ensuring that women were truly listened to and that they received exceptional care. It was there she met the love of her life, Raymond Green, whom she cherished and steadfastly supported throughout their marriage.


She is survived by her children, Amanda Tune and Austin Green; her son-in-law, Bradley Tune; and her granddaughters, Olivia and Zoey Tune, whom she adored beyond measure. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Green, on November 1, 2019.


Born on April 1, 1957, to Robert and Frances Tyndall in Birmingham, AL, Teresa grew up in Memphis, TN. She married Raymond on November 25, 1978, at the Church of the Nazarene in Springfield, MO, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with devotion and shared purpose.


Teresa was a fiercely loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed time in nature and was an avid moviegoer. With a natural green thumb, she could revive any plant; with her keen eye, she could identify any bird or hummingbird; and with her sharp memory, she could quote lines from her favorite films effortlessly.


She valued peace and quiet, yet she would roll out the red carpet for anyone. Teresa lived her principles deeply: honorable, compassionate, and unwavering tenacity in her care for others.


A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wesley House Food Pantry, Pittsburg KS, in her name. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS, 66762.
