Terry Hurlbert Obituary

Terry Lee Hurlbert, 52, of Opolis, KS, passed away on June 29, 2022, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Terry was born on April 22, 1970 to Rolla and Sherry Ann (McWilliam) Hurlbert in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Survivors include a sister, Jenifer Blakslee of Hartselle, Alabama; two nieces, Caitlin and Samantha Blakslee of Hartselle, Alabama; nephew, Edward Blakslee of Hartselle, Alabama; uncle, Jerry Hurlbert and his wife, Jean of Pittsburg; step-niece, MaKayla Buffington of Cherokee, Kansas; step-nephew, Bryan Buffington of Cherokee, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother Ramona Hurlbert and a step-brother, Troy Buffington.

According to Terry's wishes he has been cremated. Burial will take place at a later date in the Blackjack Cemetery in Barton County, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
