Tokumatsu Kinjo Platt

Tokumatsu Kinjo Platt, 27, of Pittsburg, passed away, Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

He was born October 7, 1997 in Pittsburg, the son of Christopher Lamar Platt and Chieko Kinjo. His family moved to Joplin where he attended Joplin High School. In 2021, his family moved back to Pittsburg.

Tokumatsu is survived by his mother, Chieko Bragg; his father, Christopher Platt; his step-father, Lotanna Christopher Okeke; a brother, Joseph Lewis Platt; a sister, Coleah Elaine Platt; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Teresa Platt; uncles, Anthony Platt, Marcus Platt, Takashi Kinjo, Yukio Kinjo and Kuniaki Kinjo; aunts, Keiko Kobashigawa and Yoshiko Ginoza; and fifteen cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jacqueline Bell Platt.

A Visitation will be held at Brenner Mortuary on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 5:00-7:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for help with final expenses. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS  66762. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg.
