Virginia B. Rodriguez-Hudgins

Virginia B. (Rodriguez) Hudgins, 35, of Pittsburg, passed away at 5:40 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg.

She was born November 1, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York to Elizabeth Dawn Henderson and John Robert Rodriguez. She graduated from Saint Agatha High School.

On September 5, 2024, she was united in marriage to Jamie Hudgins at Pittsburg, Kansas.

Virginia was a homemaker and cherished her family time. She had a passion for doing her makeup and loved to travel.

She is survived by her husband, Jamie Hudgins of the home; a son, Tyler Evan Gordon; and a sister, Erica Torres of Wilkes Barre, PA.

A service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Brenner Mortuary with Rev. Jim Sukraw officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to an Educational Fund for her son, Tyler.  These may be left at or mailed to Brenner Mortuary, 114 E 4th St. Pittsburg, KS 66762.  Friends may leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary.
