William Howard "Bill" Hall, 70, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Pittsburg.
Bill was born on May 20, 1954, to Perry and Erma Sue (Gavin) Hall in Zanesville, Ohio. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1971 and was honorably discharged in 1985. Following his service in the Marines Bill continued to work hard as a Master Plumber and a true "jack-of-all-trades". Bill was a generous, caring individual who was passionate about everything. He often could be found golfing, cooking, or finding a good bargain. He loved making everyone around him laugh, rooting for the opposing team just to stir the pot, enjoying a Bud Light in an "ice cold" glass, and last but not least loved music and singing along, even if he didn't know the words.
Bill is survived by the love of his life, Suzanne Haberstroh of Pittsburg, KS; a daughter, Sarah E. Zargarizenouz (Aidin) of Bristow, VA; two step-daughters, Samantha (Tyler) Bruton, and Erica (Ryan) DuBois; two grandchildren, Bryan and Selene; three step-grandchildren, Tyson, Isla, and Bria; siblings, Larry (Nancy) Hall, Charles "Chas" (Kathy) Hall, John Hall, Jeffery Hall, Debbie (Carl) Smith, Connie Dailey and Karen (Nick) McGraw and many very special family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Robert "Bob", Donald, Stephen, and Willard "Jimmy" Hall.
According to Bill's wishes, he was cremated. A memorial service will be held at Countryside Golf Course, 469 E. 520th Ave, Pittsburg, KS 66762 on January 25, 2025, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenner Mortuary, 114 East 4th Street, Pittsburg, KS 66762.
